22nF/0.022uF capacitors are more commonly found in guitars with humbuckers while 47nF/0.047uF capacitors are usually used with single coil pickups.

47nF capacitors will allow more high end rolloff than 22nF, effectively allowing the tone control to darken the sound more when rolled off.
